Riding on the streetcar, the city feels alive today
The kids are on their way to school, but no one seems OK.
9 to 5's are drinking coffee, quickly scrolling through their blackberries
Stressing out about what they read, because their moneys lost its way.
Theres a lady standing next to me and she's talking to herself about
the way the world is going to hell, and were all in bad health!
Walking through the park I see a magpie with a set of keys,
Stolen from a man in green whose cursing at the flying fiend.
Joggers run in disarray, as if something changed their lives today.
Running from the present time in hopes of something new.
Theres a man sleeping on the ground, with a shopping cart full of things he found
And a sign that reads "I'm in dire straights, and i talk to my self"
I want a place that I can call my home
Where my friends are around me, and i'm not alone

Where theres no one around me, and i'm on my own
The birds got it's shiny treat. The kids are in school.
Businessmen are stressing out and loosing their cool
I'm stuck in conflict, fighting with my self
While the people around me are going through hell!

He sat upon his throne alone and slightly unalarmed, about the uproar by the village people he had in some way harmed.
The time had come for someone to step up and take a stance for the peasants and working folk who had strained their weathered hands.
Brick by brick the stones were laid, and the castle took its form but all the builders had been banned from ever stepping through its doors.
So we climbed up to the tops of trees to see as far eyes could see but never planed for things that happen lying somewhere in between.
A journey met by those who held discord towards our plan, believers in the king and his distaste for those throughout his land.
"The strong and rich will always win" said the king to all his men, underestimating how we had devised a way to take his head.
The sun had set its eyes and laid its head down to the earth, we quickly crept through passages we built throughout the giants birth.
Past guards who's dreams had come and helped them slowly slip away, to the throne where the king looked scared and sat in disarray.
"No you cant stop me now, your going to hell for all the wrongs that you have done, ill kill you.
No you cant stop me now, give us back the the place we built and feel like we belong, or ill kill you"

Oh with progress comes patience and I'm on my way
A course had been set though I had drifted a stray
And now I know its never right to trace that guiding map
